WHAT IS VOLTAGE?
Thevoltageofanelectricfenceisameasureoftheamountofpotential
electrical energy it can release. Using the water flow analogy, the
equivalent would be water pressure inside a pipe. In order for a fence
to function properly, there must be enough voltage to overcome the
resistance (ohms) of the conductor used in the fence line.
